Applied Improv

Applied improv uses the principles and activities of improvisational theater and using them to build behavioral skills in a non-theatrical context.

It enables individuals and groups to unleash their potential, strengthen trust, and build confidence over time, offering a playful yet powerful approach to solving challenges, inspiring innovation, and creating meaningful relationships. This mindset and set of practices help participants navigate complexity and co-create dynamic solutions.

Ithaca Improv

Founded in 2015, Ithaca Improv is a community-based longform improv theater.

To discover the fun of improv theater, Ithaca Improv  offers community classes regularly for beginners and growing performers. These classes emphasize the application of improvisation skills both on and off stage. We're improvising all the time and taking improv classes helps you do so with more ease, confidence, and joy.

The classes often touch upon the use of improvisational skills in workplace and team settings.
